When it comes to design I like to help businesses connect with their audience through clean, functional and impressionable eye catching design. My focus is on working with ambitious start-ups and small businesses.
I like to give a business a brand identity that captivates their target audience to make sure that company stands out from the crowd.
I have a craving for all things design and my experiences inspire and define my style of work. I actively keep up to date with the latest styles and trends and incorporate them into my work. I’m flexible, inventive, and I like taking my work into new areas.
If you are looking for just one project or if you are company looking for a freelancer I would be happy either way.
My interest in art and design started at college. I started from Art A-levels to go onto an Art Foundation Course, then finally onto The London College of Fashion and graduated with HND in Art /Theatre Costume. Shortly after graduating I was offered job opportunities in the Reading, Berkshire area, where I went on to work for Zeneca Agrochemicals (now Astra Zeneca) designing conference packages and marketing within the international company.
I then moved onto an art studio within a company called Medical Actions to design packages and presentations for clients symposiums, exhibitions and brochures. Whilst I was with the company I also had the opportunity to travel to Brussels and Milan to exhibit the media presentations for clients in front of a large audience.
I then moved onto Gartner where I worked with the Editing and Media Services team as graphic and web designer. Together we worked on a range of exciting new projects ranging from designing brochures, adverts, logos, reports and newsletters to a complete design of web sites for Marketing, Events/Symposium and other internal departments. Most of the work was designed for use in America but would be circulated worldwide for which I was awarded four bronze awards within the company for my designs.
My next move took me abroad to Portugal where I worked for a real estate and property rental company in Portugal. I specialised in web design, ranging from large portal websites for property rentals & developments to private villa rental websites. I also designed websites for some of the well known car hire companies within the Algarve such as Luz Car, Auto Jardim and Budget car hire.
I then moved back to the UK in 2013, where I now worked part time as a graphic and web designer for a print, design & photography company, this has enabled me to gain more studio experience. The clients range from small start ups, medium sized businesses, agencies and high profile multi national companies.
I now work as a freelancer for companies based worldwide and ConceptDrop based in the USA.
